disbelief takes us
silly, happy, yet worried
we are having twins
morning sickness spared
worry gives in to giddy
innocence is back
tiny line of blood
diagnosis: bulging bag
carsick, ambulance
two innocent girls
twenty four weeks and brain bleeds
black is the new black
darkness fills my heart
links, comments, stories, sadness
i am not alone

It's hard to think about how this journey started, isn't it? I almost can't even bring myself to go back to the days when we felt so excited about our twins. It hurts so much.
Thank you for sharing this. My heart is with you.
No, you're not alone. And your poem really brings back those happy, innocent days when I thought that nothing could go wrong.
